Every (Tulsa) writer needs community!
The Second Draft Society was created to foster engaged, supportive, and knowledgeable community for Tulsa writers looking to strengthen their craft while building trust and camaraderie. Originally started as a Black writers’ workshop, this group is now open to all down-to-earth writers looking to contribute, learn, and have fun.
Many participants are working on long-term projects such as poetry chapbooks, essay collections, novels and memoirs, and have been published or self published. But we also have members who are just getting back into writing after long spells of writers’ block, and are looking to learn and share their reflections during the feedback sessions.
We meet monthly on the second Saturday from 1-3pm at Catalyst Coworking.
If you’re a Tulsa writer interested in joining, please email me at corinnegaston91 at gmail dot com.
